Sega Quietly Releases PC Version of ‘Catherine Classic’

Well, that didn’t take long.

Publisher Sega and developer Atlus today released a visually-enhanced PC version of their 2011 game, Catherine Classic. The game was teased last week, and is now available on Steam for $19.99.

This is not, however, the upcoming remaster Catherine: Full Body, which is due for release in Japan on February 14th for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

Catherine Classic features the original Japanese Voice Over available for the first time in the west, 4K resolution, an unlocked frame rate, and customizable keyboard and mouse controls.

In Catherine, you play as Vincent, a man with a hard choice to make: marry his long-time girlfriend Katherine, or move on to the incredible blonde he just woke up next to, named Catherine. This doesn’t sound so horrifying until you realize that Vincent begins to experience nightmares that become increasingly more intense, requiring Vincent to solve puzzles as he ascends a tower. If Vincent dies in his dreams, he dies in real life.
