Having already slashed its way onto the PlayStation 4, PC and more recently, the Nintendo Switch, Ska Studios have finally righted a wrong perceived by many by announcing that their Dark Souls-like game Salt and Sanctuary is heading to the Xbox One.
Set for a February 6th release for $17.99 USD, the game will be ported by BlitWorks, but won’t feature any new content. It also won’t be getting a cool physical release like it did for the Nintendo Switch, which included a double-sided poster, downloadable soundtrack and a nice manual. Oh well.
Nonetheless, Michelle and James Silva, Ska Studios’ Co-Founders, are still pleased to be finally bringing the game over to Xbox One. “Xbox holds a special place in our hearts because of how important [our previous game] The Dishwasher was to us personally and for Ska Studios as a company, so we’re glad to make this homecoming happen. Everyone who emailed us demanding an Xbox One port, will now be able to finally enjoy our creepy creation!”
