First launched for PC via Steam back in 2024, publisher Electric Airship and developer BatWorks Software have announced that their horror RPG HorrorVale is coming to consoles. The game will launch as HorrorVale: Deadluxe Edition for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch on October 31.
Welcome to HorrorVale! Your next door neighbors are zombies, reanimated monsters deliver the mail and ghosts hide out in your bathroom. Join Alice as she journeys through the underworld on a quest to save her zombie Dog, Scruffy from strange and unusual monsters that have suddenly invaded the once peaceful town of HorrorVale.
HorrorVale is a traditional RPG adventure game inspired by horror, with traditional turn-based combat with a “spooky” spin. You’ll experience the game’s story across four acts, with the main quest lasting 25 hours. For completionists, there’s the additional 35 hours of content as you bash through over 500 mechanically unique enemies.
Players will recruit over 30 unique party members, each with their own abilities and quirks. You’ll also have 60 available sidequests for further character development. The console versions will feature new battles and QoL enhancements.
