Konami’s first kick at the can for a modern Castlevania compilation wasn’t exactly the best. Still, at least it was something. But now, according to the Australian Classification website, there may be something more on the way.
Keep in mind that this is to be taken with your usual heavy dose of salt.
On the website, there’s now a listing for a title called the Castlevania Anniversary Collection. That’s it, really. It lists the title as being a multi-platform release, with violence and nudity. If this is indeed the real deal, the next question is just what games will be included, and whether they’ll be getting a modern facelift.
The Castlevania franchise will celebrate its 33rd anniversary in 2019. The last proper game in the series, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, was released in 2014.
