Speaking with DualShockers at PAX East 2019, Team Meat announced that the upcoming Super Meat Boy Forever will not only have post-launch DLC, but it’ll also be more hair-rippingly harder than what you’ll expect from the game itself.
Designer Tommy Refenes has revealed that the team will be putting in “substantial” effort for the DLC, which will be “ridiculously hard”. No more information was provided about the DLC, but Refenes also mentioned that Team Meat is planning on implementing user-created level support for the sequel, although sadly it won’t be available when Super Meat Boy Forever launches this spring.
Super Meat Boy Forever is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PC (via the Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
