In spite of the game’s appearance at PAX East 2019, Team Meat have announced that Super Meat Boy Forever has been pushed back from its original release date.
Originally scheduled for release later this month, the devs announced the delay via Twitter. Citing that they didn’t want to overwork themselves, Team Meat is still on pace for the sequel to Super Meat Boy to be completed “After but not too after April 2019”.
Super Meat Boy Forever will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via the Epic Games Store. DLC after release, along with user-created level support, is also being planned.
