‘Bloodborne’ Receiving Official Board Game, Kickstarter Later This Month

Deadly Premonition did it, as did Resident Evil 2. And now it’s Bloodborne‘s turn to have a board game adaptation.

Bloodborne: The Board Game will officially begin its Kickstarter campaign on April 23, courtesy of CMON Games. The team has been at work on this one for quite a while, judging from the design diaries. It’s still unclear what the project’s funding goal is at this time.

The board game will be “a campaign-based action-adventure”, where up to four players will take on the role of Hunters to take on the threats in the city of Yharnam, as well as uncover the various mysteries therein. As is the norm for these board games, the game will feature a number of miniatures and figures based on characters and enemies from the game.

Combat will be driven by a deck-building system where “luck has little place,” and will result in consequences to players based on their decisions and how they approach the situation.
