Capcom have made good on their word regarding that cryptic teaser yesterday. However, the actual reveal might not be what some fans were hoping for.
Due out on October 25 in Europe for €229.99 (North America details are coming “soon“) is the Capcom Home Arcade, a plug-and-play device featuring 16 classic Capcom arcade games. The device features a pair of competition class Sanwa JLF-TP-8YT sticks with 8-way GT-Y directional gates and OBSF buttons. The device will feature 16 pre-installed games are from the original Capcom CPS1 and CPS2 arcade ROMs with emulation provided by the FB Alpha emulator.
The games included are:

- Alien vs. Predator
- Armored Warriors
- Capcom Sports Club
- Captain Commando
- Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
- Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
- ECO Fighters
- Final Fight
- Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
- Giga Wing
- Mega Man: The Power Battle
- Progear
- Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
- Strider
- Super Puzzle Fighter II: Turbo
So yeah, it’s not exactly what some more casual fans were hoping for (especially since Alien vs. Predator isn’t available anywhere else). But, seeing as arcades in North America are long gone, this is probably one of the few ways to recapture that “feeling”. Sadly, those waiting for an official port of Alien vs. Predator for consoles/PC will have to keep waiting.
