Okay, it’s kind of a foregone conclusion that Capcom have struck gold with their remake of Resident Evil 2 this year. Immediately after we jumped in and saw how awesome the game was, the talk almost automatically turned to Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Would Capcom pull the trigger and do a remake to complete the initial trilogy? We already jumped on this sweet possibility a few months back, but now, Capcom have begun their teasing.
The latest Twitter post on the official Resident Evil account is a little cheeky caption with a picture that, for those who love a good tinfoil hat story, immediately points to Nemesis. If you’re unaware, many of the events in Resident Evil 3 happen before Resident Evil 2, so it makes sense that Nemesis would have paid a visit to the RPD beforehand.

It’s not a confirmation by any means, and Capcom have shown themselves to be messing with fans in the past. But when you have a game that’s sold over 4 million copies in the first few months since its release, you can’t help but think something’s in the works.
