Dark Blue Games have finally nailed down a release date of May 8th (as well as release date trailer) for their upcoming apocalyptic co-op action beat-em-up, Infected Shelter. The game will hit Steam Early Access on that date, although the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One release date (or dates) will still have to be confirmed from their “Q4 2019” announcement.
This all comes after the devs released a taste of the co-op component with a trailer last week.
Coming across as a more violent version of Castle Crashers, Infected Shelter features rogue-like elements and a “play-learn-die-unlock-improve-repeat” mechanic, Infected Shelter will feature fast paced violent action with over 50 “brutal, ultra-violent executions”. Just what you need in a co-op game!
