If you’ve enjoyed Funcom and The Bearded Ladies Consulting’s Mutant Year Zero (read our take), then get ready for the game’s upcoming expansion, “Seed of Evil”.
The expansion will hit July 30th, and will feature a new hero in the form of Big Khan the moose. Big Khan is not only skilled at landing critical hits, but features the Ground Pound and Flame Puke abilities to aid players in diversifying their strategies.
The story for the expansion picks up from the main game, where you must solve the origin of the mysterious roots that have taken over the Ark. Many of the Ark’s inhabitants have been affected by the roots, including the Zone Ghouls. It’s up to your team of stalkers to set things right.
Currently, PC users can pre-order the game on Steam.
In addition to the expansion, Funcom also announced that the Nintendo Switch version has unfortunately been pushed back. Originally scheduled for June 25th, the new release date is now July 30th. It will still include the DLC at launch, however.
