Storm in a Teacup’s Close To The Sun didn’t exactly turn out to be the BioShock alternative we were hoping for. Nonetheless, the devs are hoping that the game will get a boost from a new audience, as the title is now coming to Switch via the eShop, alongside the previously announced PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions later this year.
No word on if the game will receive a physical release.
In Close to the Sun, you play as a woman named Rose in an “alternative 19th Century where famed inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla was able to fulfill his potential and change the world forever”. Rose is aboard the Helios, a colossal vessel for scientific research, in search of her missing sister, Ada.
As you explore the Helios, you quickly realize that something’s not right. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!
