Code Points to ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ Heading to PC?
Once again, as Brian Glover said in Alien 3, this is Rumour Control. Rockstar’s megahit Red Dead Redemption 2 has been rumoured to be headed to PC for a while now.
In spite of Rockstar being tight-lipped about the possible port, when you have former employees with the game listed on their LinkedIn pages, not to mention that parent company Take Two Interactive’s CEO stating that there would be “no downside” to having the port, there’s enough for the tinfoil hat groups to start mumuring.
And now, according to The Nerd Mag, there’s another clue that Rockstar has been working on a PC port of RDR2. In the source code of the Rockstar Social Club, there’s a line of code referring to “RDR2_PC_Accomplishments”, with a list of achievements. A Twitter user was able to screengrab the code, lest Rockstar do a bit of cleaning.
The fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC is now quite evident. #RDR2 #reddeadredemption2pc #RedDeadRedemption2 #rdr2pc #reddeadredemption

You can search for “RDR2_PC” in the following link: https://t.co/hmtRJGKmoa pic.twitter.com/4kJAd5u58r— JakoMako51 (@JakoMako51) July 4, 2019
Social Club is Rockstar’s official application that keeps track of player progress, including their achievements, friends and so on. The mention of a PC version of RDR2 in the source code of this application does lend credence to previous leaks, but until Rockstar says something, it can all be taken with a grain of salt.
Read Dead Redemption 2 is currently out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Bento-Builder Horror Game ‘Don’t Let It Starve’ Out Now on Steam [Trailer]
Developed by Eduardo Scarpato and published by Black Lantern Collective, the strange mix of CloverPit with Tetris in Don’t Let It Starve, the “horror roguelite bento-builder from hell” is out now on Steam, complete with a limited-time 15% launch discount. For the “try before you buy” crowd, there’s also the demo that’s available on Steam.
In Don’t Let It Starve, you’re being held captive by a half-chef monster living in the vents. The only way out is to build bento boxes to satiate him, while amassing items and modifiers along the way to try and meet your captor’s appetite for fine dining. Flip, rotate, and place differently-shaped foods to create combos. You’ll receive bonuses for combining complementary ingredients, and fill every slot on your plate to dish out the highest-scoring, most satisfying meals. If you manage to survive the round, you’ll earn coins to purchase new items that build up multipliers, manipulate your luck, and create powerful synergies.
Each run forces you to adapt: new items, new challenges, and new ways to play the odds. The chef promises the key to an escape hatch if you can satiate its unending hunger, but getting there won’t be easy; you’ll have to master every tool at your disposal if you mean to survive. If you prove unworthy, well, you can guess what happens next.
Live or die, the nightmare doesn’t end there. Unlock new tools, challenges, and modifiers as you play that provide entirely new approaches and scenarios. Four difficulty modes layer on top of each other to introduce strange new bento shapes, raised score quotas, a ticking clock, and more.
