Now while Rebellion’s Sniper Elite series hasn’t been my favourite of the first-person shooter genre, how many games can you name that have an X-ray camera detailing the trajectory and damage of your sniper shots in gloriously gory details? Not many. Plus, you can’t go wrong with the offshoot Zombie Army series (including the upcoming Zombie Army 4: Dead War).
With that in mind, Rebellion has announced that they’re bringing an updated version of Sniper Elite 3 to the Nintendo Switch. Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is set to arrive on October 1st on the Nintendo eShop, as well as in a boxed edition. The Ultimate Edition includes all of the content ever released for the game, as well as four extra campaign levels. On top of that, the game will include exclusive local co-op and multiplayer, motion controls and Pro Controller support.
And of course, the game will feature the series’ trademark X-Ray Kill Cam, showing your bullets rip through organs, bones and even vehicles. Digital preorders go up September 17th, so head on over to the series’ official site.
