Survival Zombie Game ‘Undying’ Headed to PlayStation 4
We previewed Giant Games’ Undying last month from E3, and now Chinese developer Vanimals has announced at ChinaJoy 2019 that the survival game will be coming to PlayStation 4, in addition to its previously-announced PC version.
The game is currently still in Early Access on Steam, with a targeted release date of Q1 2020.
In Undying, after being infected by a zombie bite, Anling’s days are numbered. She must now fight to survive, not for herself but her young son, Cody. Ensure Cody’s survival in this zombie infested world by protecting him, searching for safety, and teaching him valuable skills, at any cost. Even if it means giving in to her new zombie urges.
Players take control of Anling, whose goal is to find somewhere safe for her son Cody to live on before she is turned by her infection. Limited resources must be managed in order to slow down Anling’s infection while also making sure both Anling and Cody don’t starve from hunger or thirst. In order to be more efficient and to help Cody in the future, players can pass on skills that Anling has learned over to Cody. These skills can be combat-based, as well as general survival skills such as cooking and crafting.

‘METRO 2039’ Aiming for February 2027 Release; New Gameplay Trailer Revealed [Watch]
4A Games and Deep Silver followed up the April reveal of METRO 2039 with a new gameplay trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase, as well as narrowing down the release window to February 2027, which technically is still “this Winter”. The gameplay trailer features nearly three minutes of footage captured completely in-game, as well as the first look at Hunter, the new Fuhrer who has “washed the Metro in lies and propaganda to gain the ultimate power.”
Blending jaw-dropping gameplay and impressive graphical fidelity the trailer showcases the return of close and claustrophobic stealth-action gameplay, tunnel and surface exploration, iconic METRO mechanics and diegetic survival elements. The 3-minute premier also gives a glimpse at the new stealth weapon known as The Shatun, as well as a new breaching charge for your arsenal as you delve deep into the dark heart of the Metro.
The Metro has been transformed by a powerful new regime and its leader, the fanatical Spartan leader known as Hunter. METRO 2039’s protagonist, The Stranger, is consumed with anger and hatred, chastising the Fuhrer for his lies and hypocrisy. As part of the Spartan Order, Hunter was a legend, a high-ranking, experienced Ranger, who swore to protect the Metro. What’s left of the Spartan Order as he knew it lies in ruins, and where the Spartans were once considered selfless protectors, the Stranger believes Hunter has become the very enemy the Spartans used to fight.
Look for METRO 2039 on the Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, Steam and the Epic Games Store.
