Looks like that release date leak back in back in May for THQ Nordic’s Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch was incorrect, as THQ Nordic today announced that the game will be heading to Nintendo’s console on September 26th, both digitally and in retail stores.
As with previous versions of the Deathinitive Edition, the game includes all of the DLC, plus reworked game balancing and loot distribution, and enhanced graphics.
Darksiders II first launched for PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and PC in August 2012, followed by Wii U in 2012. The enhanced Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in October 2015, followed by PC in November 2015.
The latest entry in the series, Darksiders: Genesis, is expected later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia.
