Announced at EVO 2019, SNK’s Samurai Shodown will add the umbrella-weilding Shizumaru Hisame as a free downloadable content character in September. Shizumaru’s addition is separate from the remaining Season 1 DLC characters. Additionally, Season 2 of their DLC will include four downloadable characters, starting with the return of Samurai Shodown V‘s Mina Majikina. Season 2 is planned for 2020.
Samurai Shodown (which we reviewed here) is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch and PC versions of the game are planned for release in Q4 2019.
