Shockwork Games’ turn-based strategy game Alder’s Blood has reached its goal on Kickstarter (having turned to the service at the beginning of the month). In celebration for those who contributed towards the game (which you can still do, if you wish), the devs have released a free demo of the game.
It’s not just limited to backers, either: Anyone can download the demo from either the game’s itch.io page, or on Indie DB. The demo won’t be around for long, so get downloading.
“You all are amazing! I don’t know if I can ever thank you enough,” exclaims Lead Developer Michał Bernat. “It was a long journey for the whole team, very often a difficult one. But right now we can all agree that it was totally worth it. Everything is starting to come together and it’s just breathtaking (pun intended). Thank you all again and see you on the hunt!”
Right now, Shockwork is looking to their stretch goals of releasing the game on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, as well as adding even more content to the game. Alder’s Blood is still scheduled to land on PC and the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
