With all of the teasing (including a rumoured February 2020 release), we just might finally get an answer for Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part 2. Sony Interactive Entertainment America will host a The Last of Us Part II media event on September 24. The invitation was subsequently shared via Twitter by The Game Awards creator Geoff Keighley.

Of course, nothing else has been revealed about the event, so we might as well speculate on just what we could see. New gameplay details? That footage that was shown at the GameStop Managers Conference? The release date? The potential for the game to end up being a PlayStation 5 title?
I could keep padding this out, but the obvious answer is we just have to wait. The Last of Us Part 2 is being developed exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
