‘Batman’ Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Not Involved With Potential Upcoming ‘Batman’ Game

With the rumours of a new Batman game rumbling again, one reportedly involving the Court of Owls storyline, one important personality unfortunately won’t be involved with it.

Speaking to publication JOE, longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy simply stated “I’m not” when asked if he’d be involved with the newest Batman game. Conroy added to that, stating “I don’t know why,” in regards to his lack of involvement.

That begs the question of whether Roger Craig Smith, who voiced the Caped Crusader in Batman: Arkham Origins, will get the nod. Smith hasn’t confirmed his involvement yet (nor has the game actually been announced), but when the 80th anniversary of Batman rolled around, Smith did drop this little number on Twitter:

True, it could very well be that Smith was just celebrating his involvement in the franchise. But having worked with WB Games Montreal on Origins, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that if this game is being developed, that he’d be the logical choice to voice Batman.
