[Trailer] Story-Driven ‘Aliens’ Fan Game ‘Hope For The Future’ Appears on Patreon

While it’s a risky business to be creating fan games using big-name properties (particularly without a license), this one at least deserves a look. We’ve talked about Sega’s Alien: Isolation several times over the past week, and now, a fan game, Alien: Hope For The Future has popped up on Patreon.

The title is being created by a Russian developer known as IIapagokc, who calls the game an “immersive sim project with elements of survival-horror and tactics.” The story for Hope For The Future casts you as a colonist in the Hadley’s Hope colony before and during the Xenomorph invasion. There will be additional missions where you will play as others colony members, as well. The first three of them will come out before the main campaign, and you’ll be able to play them in the eventual demo.

Right now, the game is only “10-12%” complete, with the story being the main focus. If you want to chip in to help, you can always head to IIapagokc’s Patreon and chip in a few bucks.

That’s if Disney/Fox doesn’t decide to “investigate”…
