Back in July, developer Attic Door Productions had announced that their licensed sequel to the classic FMV game The 7th Guest, entitled The 13th Doll, would be released this month. And as you’d expect it, the team has announced that the game will be released on October 31 via Steam and GOG.com. Not only that, but there’s also a new launch trailer to go along with it!
As mentioned, The 13th Doll is a fully-licensed game based on The 7th Guest series, where players will journey through two player paths featuring 25 “unique and mind-bending” puzzles, with five possible endings. You’ll also get the opportunity to return to the original game’s Stauf mansion, which includes the return of Robert Hirschboeck as Henry Stauf. Players will assume the role of Tad, the original 7th guest, or as newcomer Dr. Richmond, and will have to work their way through Stauf’s history and legacy.
