Ratings Appear For ‘Metro Redux’ For Switch, ‘Void Bastards’ For PS4

Published

on

PS4 and Switch owners who have missed out on a couple of shooters this past year may finally have some redemption on the way, according to the Pan European Game Information board, which is the European content ratings system for games.

On PEGI’s website, a listing for Metro Redux (which includes Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux) has appeared, though no release date is part of the listing, nor has one officially been announced. The collection was released for Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in August 2014. No word on if the latest game in the series, Metro Exodus, will be headed to the Switch anytime soon.

In addition, PEGI’s website also has a new listing for Void Bastards for PlayStation 4. Blue Manchu’s BioShock-esque shooter hit the PC and Xbox One last May (read our review here), so it’s been a wait for PS4 owners to join in the fun. Much like Metro Redux for the Switch, a release date for Void Bastards hasn’t been announced.

If you haven’t yet checked out Aniplex Inc. and JOYCITY Corporation’s Resident Evil Survival Unit, the free-to-play real-time strategy game has just announced a new collaboration with another Capcom property in Monster Hunter to entice prospective players. Kicking off on July 2 and running until July 29, the limited-time collaboration will introduce Monster Hunter–inspired elements into the post-apocalyptic world of Resident Evil Survival Unit, adding large-scale monster encounters to the game’s strategic systems.

Details on the collaboration are being kept under wraps for now, but during the event, players will be able to participate in collaboration-exclusive in-game events that will earn them special rewards inspired by the Monster Hunter series. We do get a brief teaser trailer for the upcoming event, which in addition to teasing various monsters for players to battle, also promises new units for players to recruit.

Set in a parallel world inspired by the Resident Evil universe, the game features an original storyline and real-time strategic gameplay designed for mobile platforms. Players will build bases, secure resources, and battle creatures in a collapsed city. Iconic characters such as Leon S. Kennedy, Claire Redfield, and Jill Valentine appear throughout the game, allowing for team formations that bring together characters from across the Resident Evil franchise, enabling unique combinations not seen in the original titles.

Resident Evil Survival Unit is available on iOS and Android devices.
