Crytek has revealed their post-launch plans in a new blog post for their PvE shooter, Hunt: Showdown, including a much-requested solo mode, a new map and special timed events. The post also revealed the release date for the PlayStation 4, which will happen on February 14th.
Along with the PS4 announcement, the post highlighted the game’s other console plans, which includes Xbox One-PlayStation 4 crossplay. As for PC players, the most notable new addition is a solo PvE mode, which hasn’t yet been announced by Crytek or its new co-publisher Koch Media. However, it is due at some point in the next year.
As for the immediate future, Crytek is working on Update 1.2, which will include a new mode that randomises teams of three players, an improved tutorial, new Legendary Hunters, and more goodies you can use to to take down monsters.
Hunt: Showdown is available now on PC and Xbox One.
