Just when you thought it was over, someone tossed in another quarter. Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was originally cancelled by Blind Squirrel Games last year, but apparently, the game has now been rated by PEGI for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
According to the listing, the game’s release date was today, but obviously that didn’t happen. Still, the listing does include a synopsis of the game:
“Mortal Kombat Kollection Online is the original Mortal Kombat trilogy that Mortal Kombat fans always wanted. Upgraded art, gameplay, and online features provide an incredible experience that revive the ‘klassics’…”
Neither Warner Bros. or Netherrealm Studios have officially announced the project, nor has Blind Squirrel Games commented on if they’re still working on the game. Series co-creator Ed Boon did say that this year was going to be big for Mortal Kombat fans, and this might be a good reason why.
