If you’re in the mood for a roguelike with plenty of plasma, Focus Home Interactive and Passtech Games’ Curse of The Dead Gods is out now in Early Access on Steam.
The game has you descending into a maze-like temple, complete with traps and monsters. All in search of riches, immortality, and divine power. Of course, the deeper you go, the more the powerful you become. But, as they say, everything has a price.
The Early Access version of Curse of the Dead Gods includes the “Jaguar section,” which is the first of three planned segments of the dungeon, with each section dedicated to a different god.
“Throughout Early Access we plan to do large monthly updates, alongside smaller patches roughly weekly. Some of these may be unstable, and will use a special branch so that the core game is never in a messy state,” says Passtech. “Major changes can and will happen based on your feedback, and we’re excited to get started.”
Curse of The Dead Gods will also be seeing PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases, though it’s not known when those ports will be available.
