‘Void Bastards’ Headed to PS4 And Switch May 7
Four months after a rating appeared for the title, Blue Manchu has announced that their shooter Void Bastards, which hit the PC and Xbox last May, will officially be coming to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
The title will be available on May 7, with the “Bang Tydy” downloadable content also being available to purchase on day one.
In Void Bastards, players take control of misfit prisoners of the Void Ark, each with unique traits, as they jump from ship to ship across the Sargasso Nebula scrounging for craftable gear, upgrades, and loot to ensure survival. The “Bang Tydy” DLC adds a completely new org to Void Bastards, along with a dangerous new opponent, a brutal new weapon, three new ships to explore and the chance to gather much-needed heart starters to keep your client alive in the dangerous Sargasso Nebula.

New Gameplay Trailer Highlights The Combat in ‘The Relic: First Guardian’ [Watch]
On the heels of the recent Brutals trailer, Project Cloud Games and Perp Games have follow that up with a new gameplay trailer for The Relic: First Guardian, focusing on the Soulslike’s new take on combat. With a heavy emphasis on balancing action and vulnerability, the game’s design encourages aggressive attacks using skill-based encounters such as dodge, parry, and weapon mastery.
Project Cloud Games’ ambition is to create an action-oriented, dark fantasy RPG with in-game support systems and gameplay focused on fast-paced combat with 80 punishing boss fights. To facilitate the action, stamina is never depleted when attacking, leaving it reserved for defence and dodging.
Skills operate on cooldowns, without the need to worry about consumption of resources. This direction allows each player to adapt to their own playstyle and rhythm, seamlessly blending combat flow. Rather than traditional levelling systems and gaining experience points, progression comes from equipment, crafting, Relic powers, and build customisations.
The Relic: First Guardian takes place on the fictitious continent of Arsiltus. You are the First Guardian, charged with embarking on a heroic adventure to save the world. The once-prosperous Arsiltus was swallowed up by the void created by the destruction of the great relic and transformed into the land of death. Now your mission is to find the pieces of the broken great relic and close the void.
Look for The Relic: First Guardian on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on July 31, while versions for the Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch 2 are expected later this year.
