Despite Human Head Studios’ demise, Rune 2 is still kicking after its release late last year. The remaining team members have been trying to fix many of the bugs left in the game, and with the latest patch, the appropriately-named Lazarus Update, Rune 2 has had a serious overhaul.
From the combat system to the villager interaction to enemy AI and balancing, the patch certainly sounds like a huge improvement over the broken game that players received back in November. There’s definitely a lot to cover, which is probably why publisher Ragnarok Game, LLC posted such detailed patch notes.
