‘Dead by Daylight’ Showcases Bloody Jason Voorhees Skin Ahead of June 16 Release
Just in case it wasn’t already clear, Jason Voorhees will be arriving in Dead by Daylight next week. And along with teasing their 10th Anniversary Livestream on June 14, Behaviour Interactive also dropped another teaser, this time for Jason and his never-before-seen Bloody Jason skin. That also includes a Redband variant, just for old time’s sake.
While it’s unclear for now just how players can snag this gory cosmetic, the skin joins the other three previously-revealed skins in the Jason Collection, featuring a range of Outfits that pay homage to his legacy while being reimagined in ways only The Fog could shape. Jason’s default Outfit presents the unmistakable icon from Jason Universe, originally designed by horror legend Greg Nicotero: a 13-holed hockey mask, machete, and weather-beaten clothing worn through countless kills.
Additional outfits include Backwoods Terror, which trades Jason’s jacket for flannel and suspenders, and his machete for a heavy axe. Death Forsaken offers a more grotesque incarnation with decayed features, exposed bone, and a shovel in hand. Lastly, Jason’s Depths of Despair Outfit sees him emerging from the depths; a vision of terror covered head-to-toe in barnacles, coral, and seaweed.
Dead by Daylight: Jason will be available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch on June 16.
