As was scheduled, Protocol Games have released the final piece to their multi-year journey that is Song of Horror. The fifth and final episode, “The Horror and The Song”, sees the player make a last-ditch effort to stop the cursed song from playing, and to exorcize the cursed entity known as The Presence.
In addition to the new episode, Song of Horror now has a few new tweaks to certain episodes, as well as the overall game. Things such as adjustable difficulty throughout the game, UI changes, and a new mode that allows players to reload from certain points, without succumbing to permanent death.
The game currently has a 20% discount until June 8, so get in on it if you haven’t already. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game are due in Q2 2020.
