[Gamescom 2020] Classic Run & Gun Series ‘Turrican’ Returns in Two Anthologies For PS4, Switch

With its Metroid and Alien influences (and legendary soundtracks by Chris Huelsbeck), the 90s action shooter Turrican had its popularity relegated to its home continent of Europe, but still managed to get ports to the SNES and Genesis. But now, after 3 decades, the series is back thanks to Factor 5 and Strictly Limited Games.

Announced at Gamescom, Factor 5 will be releasing Turrican Anthology Vol. I and Turrican Anthology Vol. II for PlayStation 4 and Switch, retailing at €34.99 each. The two anthologies cover every game that was released in the series, and will also be available in a €99.99 Collector’s Edition and €199.99 “Ultra Collector’s Edition”. Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:
