[Gamescom 2020] Dystopian Cyberpunk Meets Lovecraft in ‘Transient’; Demo Available on Steam

Published

on

Who doesn’t love a dose of Lovecraftian horror? Well, how about tossing it into some Cyberpunk? That’s what Iceberg Interactive and developer Stormling Studios are doing with their upcoming game Transient, which is due out for PC via Steam in October, followed by PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2021.

In fact, there’s a demo available on Steam right now for you to try!

Transient takes place in the distant, post-apocalyptic future (naturally). What remains of mankind lives in an enclosed citadel called Domed City Providence, created to survive the harsh outside environment. Randolph Carter, a member of a notorious hacker-for-hire group called ODIN, accidentally stumbles across a terrifying truth that leads him to not only question his sanity, but also his very existence.
