Upcoming ‘Resident Evil 2’ Leon Kennedy Figure Makes Your Wallet Cry With Joy
We can all agree that Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 2 is what we all needed last year. And if you never got in on any of the swag leading up to its release (including that $750 keyboard), you can at least take advantage of some post-launch goodies like DAMTOYS and Nauts Inc.’s brand-new Leon Kennedy figure, which is currently scheduled for a Q1 2021 release.
Setting you back $226USD, the figure still looks worth it, sporting 30 points of articulation, and is fully packed with weapons and accessories. Standing 12″ tall, Leon will come with multiple interchangeable hands, a Matilda handgun with removable custom parts, a M-19 handgun, a W-870 shotgun with custom parts, a LE 5 sub-machine gun, grenades, a combat knife, ammo for the guns, various keys, first aid spray, a radio set, and a flashlight.
This is the first of the new set of figures from DAMTOYS and Nauts Inc., so you can expect the others in the line (when you can afford them) to have as much detail and goodies as Leon.
You can pre-order the figure from Hobbylink Japan. Resident Evil 2 is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, alongside this year’s release of the Resident Evil 3 remake.
