[TGA 2020] ‘The Last of Us Part II’ Wins Game of The Year, Earns Seven Awards in Total

Naughty Dog’s acclaimed The Last of Us Part II scored the big one at tonight’s Game Awards 2020, earning Game of The Year honours over the likes of Ghost of Tsushima, Hades, DOOM: Eternal and others. TLOU2 also earned wins for Game Direction, Narrative, Audio Design, Performance (Laura Bailey as Abby), Innovation in Accessibility, and Best Action/Adventure Game.

Not to be outdone, Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima earned wins in Art Direction and Gamer’s Voice, while Supergiant Games’ Hades won for Best Indie Game and Best Action Game. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate won for Best Fighting Game. Phasmophobia earned a much-deserved win for Best Debut Game, and Best VR/AR Game went to Valve’s Half-Life: Alyx.

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:

V Rising exits Early Access on Steam on May 8th, alongside the Legacy of Castlevania crossover. A PlayStation 5 version will also be released later this year.
