The devs also announced that the title will be coming to SteamVR on May 25, and arrive on PSVR later in 2021.

The Oculus version of Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife will set you back $29.99 USD. In addition, Fast Travel Games has released a new gameplay walkthrough clip for the game.

In Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife, you play as Ed Miller, a photographer who dies during a séance, and becomes a Wraith. Suspended between life and death, you must explore the Barclay Mansion, using your supernatural Wraith abilities to uncover the truth of your untimely demise. Light on jump scares, but heavy on tension and mystery, players will need to rely on their sense of self-preservation to survive.

You can also wishlist Wraith: The Oblivion – Afterlife on the Oculus Store for Quest and Rift, as well as on Steam.

‘El Paso, Elsewhere’ – LaKeith Stanfield Starring in Adaptation of Monster Hunting Video Game

Last year’s monster hunting shooter El Paso, Elsewhere is headed to the screen, with THR reporting that LaKeith Stanfield (Haunted Mansion) will star in the live action film adaptation.

Stanfield will also produce the film alongside Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

THR notes in today’s report, “There is no writer or director, as the project is still being packaged in the hopes of finding a studio home. The package is seen as buzzy, as it is a video game adaptation, a bustling genre thanks to titles such as The Last of Us, the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and the most recent hit, Fallout.”

In the upcoming movie version of El Paso, Elsewhere, “Recovering from a toxic relationship, James Savage (LaKeith Stanfield) confronts both his inner demons and enigmatic ex-girlfriend, Janet, before she executes a world-ending ritual. James navigates her reality-bending universe of ethereal monsters while facing the truth of his own addictions and skewed sense of self-worth. James learns that the only route to love is through healing.”

Developer Strange Scaffold’s El Paso, Elsewhere was released this past September.

Aaron Boehm wrote in his 4-star review here on Bloody Disgusting, “Much like its inspiration Max Payne, and other games in Remedy’s catalog, there’s a clear vision that unites every frame of this game, making for an experience that both reignites a classic action subgenre and forges an identity all its own. Few games have a better elevator pitch than El Paso, Elsewhere, and it’s awesome to see it live up to those expectations with style and heart.”
