[Trailer] Soulslike Metroidvania ‘GRIME’ Arrives August 2nd, Coming to Google Stadia And PC

Published

on

Developer Clover Bite has finally set a release date of August 2 for their upcoming soulslike in GRIME, which will now be coming to Google Stadia in addition to the PC via SteamGOG, and Epic Games Store.

The action-adventure RPG will reportedly ship with “over 15 hours of gameplay content, including hundreds of weapon and armor combinations, an expansive bestiary, plus many unique skills to unlock that add further variance to your gameplay experience” (thanks, Gematsu).

In case you’re unfamiliar with GRIME, the story goes that you have been “squeezed into existence” from unusual material that has collapsed in on itself. You are born into an alien world, where you survive by crushing your foes with living weapons that mutate form and function, and then consume their remains with a black hole to strengthen yourself “as you break apart a world of anatomical horror and intrigue.”

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]

Published

on

During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.

In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.

In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.

Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via SteamXbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
