While Alex Murphy finally returned to video games in Mortal Kombat 11, some of us were still craving a proper solo game. Luckily, Nacon, MGM and developer Teyon (the same folks behind Terminator: Resistance) are doing just that.

Announced today during Nacon Connect 2021 was RoboCop: Rogue City, which will be based upon the first three films in the iconic series. The game is planned to release in 2023 for console and PC, and will feature an all-new story that will be “faithful to the franchise’s DNA”.

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with MGM to offer a new vision of a popular franchise that was created over 30 years ago. This game is the perfect fit to pursue our aim of offering different gaming experiences to the widest possible audience,” said Alain Falc, CEO of Nacon.

More information is expected about the title at another time.
