Dark Take on “Pinocchio” in Soulslike ‘Lies of P’ Launches Teaser Website

Published

on

Back in May, Round8 Studio announced their Soulslike take on the Pinocchio story with Lies of P. The developer has now done a little update in the form of a new teaser website.

Admittedly, there’s not much to the new website at the moment. It does give you the excuse to watch the Story Trailer again, which is appropriately creepy, and turns the whole Pinocchio story on its wooden head.

Lies of P takes place in an alternate Europe, where the city of Krat is overwhelmed by madness and bloodlust. You are Pinocchio, a puppet mechanoid, and must fight through everything in your path to find Mr. Geppetto. Don’t expect any help along the way from people, nor should you trust anyone. You must always lie to others if you hope to become human.

While no release date has been announced, Lies of P is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
