[Trailer] New ‘Wasteland 3’ Expansion “Cult of The Holy Detonation” Announced For October 5

Published

Wasteland 3 players will be getting a new DLC this October with “Cult of the Holy Detonation”. The expansion, which treads into a Cheyenne Mountain military complex that has mutant cults worshipping a nuclear explosion held in stasis, will arrive on October 5 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In addition, developer inXile Entertainment has also announced Wasteland 3 Colorado Collection. This includes the base game and the “The Battle of Steeltown” and “Cult of the Holy Detonation” DLCs, and will launch digitally on the same day.

As mentioned, “Cult of the Holy Detonation” has players venturing into the Cheyenne Mountains, which is filled with new characters, enemies, challenging combat encounters, and powerful new weapons and armor. Your Rangers will face new objective-based encounters that tweak the game’s tactical turn-based combat. That’s on top of the waves of mutants that you’ll have to put down in your quest to figure out how to use the Detonation’s energy to power Colorado Springs. That is, if you don’t level it, first.
