[Trailer] Psychological Horror Game ‘Horror Story: Hallowseed’ Busts Out of Early Access Today

Published

on

The day’s finally arrived for fans of 1C Entertainment and developer Jeff Winner’s story-driven Horror Story: Hallowseed. The game is finally exiting Early Access on Steam, and has a shiny new trailer to boot.

Hallowseed has had its content “completely re-imagined” from the Early Access version. The full release includes a larger map, new levels, puzzles, and items, a redesigned forest area and house, upgraded visuals, improved sound effects, a new ending, and more.

Inspired by modern horror films such as Insidious, The Conjuring, and The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Hallowseed sees Michael (aka the player) enjoying a camping trip with a group of friends in the remote woods of Hallowseed. Of course, a setup like that begs for demons to come calling, leaving Michael separated from his friends. Now Michael must uncover the truth behind the horrors all around him, find his friends, and leave alive.

Horror Story: Hallowseed is also available today on GOG, Epic Games Store and other digital stores. The game is also enjoying a 20% discount for a limited time.
