[Trailer] Jigsaw Himself Celebrates Tome 10: SAW for ‘Dead by Daylight’, Available Tomorrow

With Tome 10: SAW for Dead by Daylight arriving January 26th, Behaviour Interactive and Lionsgate have decided to sweeten the pot by having Jigsaw himself introduce the new content. As the game’s first fully-licensed Tome, Tome 10 will reveal “three new never-before-seen stories from the world of Dead by Daylight and SAW.”

With Tome 10, in addition to uncovering the memories of Amanda Young (The Pig) and Detective Tapp as the Rift opens, players will also get to unlock the Book of SAW Collection, which will offer new outfits for the two fan-favourite characters.

“Over and above our primary objective of providing our fans with fun and continuously renewed content, one of our goals when integrating a powerful movie franchise such as SAW is to invite a larger community into the Dead by Daylight universe,” states Dead by Daylight director Mathieu Côté. “With Tome 10 of the Archives, we have the chance to speak to a completely new audience through the voice of Jigsaw in our Reveal Trailer, and we’re truly grateful to our partner Lionsgate for offering us this opportunity.”

In Tome 10, a student of Jigsaw finds herself tempted by a dark epiphany and a determined detective faces the choice of a lifetime. Players will witness the Auris, a device capable of peering into the memories of those who have entered the Fog. Through it, the mysterious Observer will grant them access to a new series of challenges to complete, designed to help piece together these memories as well as his role within the Entity’s Realm.

Completing the challenges unlocks new, time-limited rewards to collect. In the SAW Rift, fans will be able to earn over 60 cosmetic items including 12 new outfits, charms, as well as the Book of SAW Collection for Amanda Young (The Pig) and Detective Tapp.

These new outfits include the Amanda’s Rebirth Very Rare Outfit for The Pig, which features a reverse bear trap crown, as well as a cruel wrist blade that tears the flesh of her victims. Amanda also wears the robes of her mentor, Jigsaw, “making her entire outfit a nightmarish interpretation of her disturbed state of mind.”

Meanwhile, Detective Tapp’s the Grill Champ Very Rare Outfit gives players a glimpse at what his life could have been had he given up his obsession with catching Jigsaw. Finally relaxing and enjoying the summer days, Tapp’s pork-themed BBQ attire “shows off his love and mastery of the grill.”

Dead by Daylight is available on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and the Nintendo Switch.
