‘The Dark Pictures’ Developer Registers New Trademark for ‘The Quarry’

Published

on

Last month, Supermassive Games had apparently trademarked several new titles for the next round of entries in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Now it appears that they’ve trademarked another name with “The Quarry”. Only this time, it’s not related to the series.

Per Video Games Chronicle after being initially spotted by @the_marmolade, Supermassive has trademarked The Quarry with the EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The trademark allows Supermassive to use the title “across games software, entertainment services and computer programming services”.

Furthermore, according to VGC’s sources, The Quarry will be produced by 2K Games, and is expected for release later this year.

No further information on the game is available at this time, including the proposed platforms.

Meanwhile, the “season finale” of The Dark Pictures Anthology, entitled The Devil in Me, is currently in development, presumably for release later this year. The latest entry, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes, is out now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
