While it still doesn’t have an exact release date (other than this “2022“), developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Entertainment have announced a Collector’s Edition for the upcoming A Plague Tale: Requiem. Retailing for $189.99, the Collector’s Edition is available exclusively on the Focus Entertainment Store.

The package includes a copy of the game in a store-exclusive box cover, an 8.3-inch resin statue of Amicia and Hugo, a two-track 45 RPM vinyl, three litographs, and a 2.4-inch metallic brooch of Hugo’s feather. The entire thing comes cased in a collector’s box.

The story for Requiem centers on Amicia and Hugo after their escape from their devastated homeland, taking refuge in the far south. However, peace eludes them as Hugo’s powers reawaken, causing the return of the flood of all-consuming rats. The siblings now place their hopes in a prophesized island that may hold the key to saving Hugo.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Face Your Fears in ‘Don’t Be Afraid 2’, Coming to PC and Consoles [Trailer]

Eneida Games and Cat-astrophe Games are following up 2020’s horror adventure title Don’t Be Afraid with the sequel, Don’t Be Afraid 2. The developers have released a new gameplay trailer, delving into the details of the sequel.

Don’t Be Afraid 2 sees you once again in the shoes of David, who is 15 years removed from the events of the first game. For years, David tried to pick up the pieces and deal with the damage the events left on him. Unable to keep a job, find a partner, or even handle simple daily tasks, he leads a pitiful life under the watchful eye of his therapist. Unfortunately, David’s past has caught up to him sooner than he expected, resulting in him now reliving the darkest moments of his life. David must now gather clues about his past and solve puzzles left behind by the deranged murderer toying with his life, trying to find a way out of a mansion where the line between dreams and reality is blurred.

As such, Don’t Be Afraid 2 features two unique endings. Will you escape or succumb to your fears? Can you deal with David’s past or will it break you? You’ll have to struggle your way through the horrors that endure in David’s psyche, navigating a series of sinister escape rooms, and uncover the chilling truth behind the nightmares.

“The original Don’t Be Afraid was much loved by a community, brave horror game fans that accepted the frightening challenge ahead of them,” says Krzysztof Szymański, Narrative Director. “Now, we propose an even scarier, and gut-wrenching experience not for the faint of heart. Will you have what it takes to survive? We can’t wait to see you try!”

Don’t Be Afraid 2 is currently in development for PC via Steam, Playstation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.
