Psychological Horror Anthology Game ‘The Fridge Is Red’ Launches Today on Steam [Trailer]
Originally announced back in June, 5WORD Team and publisher tinyBuild’s horror throwback anthology The Fridge is Red launched today on Steam. And with it, a new launch trailer to get you in the mood for some mind-warping PS1-styled graphics and gameplay.
Inspired by 5WORD Team’s Epic MegaJam entry DO NOT TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THE RED FRIDGE, the story for The Fridge is Red concerns Frank, whose mundane tasks and life’s complexities manifest into hauntings after a client leaves him an unusual red fridge for repairs. To add to the whole mess is Frank’s missing daughter, which according to the notes strewn about his basement, point toward the red fridge as having something to do with it all.
The clues to finding her are all there if Frank can put them together, but he just can’t tear his eyes away from the ominous appliance. Unfixable, the fridge stews in his basement warping the space around him, unleashing evil and undead entities upon his world. Players will explore Frank’s life, now tainted as he searches for his daughter across town, from a defiled church to an abandoned hospital. Along the way, you’ll have to dodge the unholy creatures that follow Frank as he launches his search for answers and the truth behind the red fridge.

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]
During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.
In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.
In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.
Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
