Dark Narrative Adventure Game ‘EDENGATE: The Edge of Life’ Out Now on PC, Consoles [Trailer]
Despite missing its previously-announced October 25 release date, indie developer HOOK’s dark narrative adventure game EDENGATE: The Edge of Life is finally out now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.
Written by award-winning writer Matthew Seiji Burns, director/writer of the critically acclaimed visual novel Eliza, EDENGATE: The Edge of Life sees players in the shoes of Mia, a promising young biologist who wakes up to find herself in an abandoned hospital, with no memory of the events leading up to her awakening. With no other signs of life around her, Mia tries to piece together the events that brought her to the hospital and unravel the mystery of the city of Edengate, which is now mysteriously desolate.
Featuring a haunting soundtrack composed by Laryssa Okada, who also wrote the soundtrack for the first-person puzzler Manifold Garden, EDENGATE is touted as being a fusion of exploration, investigation, puzzle solving and meaningful decision-making. The concept and development of EDENGATE were formed during the most difficult months of the pandemic, with the development team harnessing the fear, isolation and uncertainty of the future they experienced during this time, using that to convey these emotions through EDENGATE’s gameplay and narrative.

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]
The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.
Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.
Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:

V Rising exits Early Access on Steam on May 8th, alongside the Legacy of Castlevania crossover. A PlayStation 5 version will also be released later this year.
