Developer Plot Twist has decided to dig a little deeper into the combat for The Last Case of Benedict Fox. After giving us an initial look at the combat a few weeks ago, the devs have further expanded that with a narrated deep dive into the combat gameplay.

Revealed during the ID@Xbox Showcase on Twitch, this combat-focused walkthrough breaks down the various defensive and offensive moves Benedict employs when taking on various types of demons in Limbo. This new combat-focused video shows how to use different attacks, conquer many demons simultaneously, explore Limbo, and the importance of wit and planning to survive in The Last Case of Benedict Fox.

The walkthrough also demonstrates the tools Benedict has at his disposal to help traverse the world of Limbo, the importance of using different skills to get past various enemies, and how to engage each of the supernatural factions in unique ways.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox sees you step into gothic-era Boston as the eponymous self-proclaimed detective to experience the deep mauve haze of Limbo. As Benedict you will delve further into oblivion, in a journey to uncover the truth behind a mystifying family tragedy while answering to the whims of a demon that possesses his soul. Players will delve into memories of the dead through a chilling narrative interwoven with combat and mind-bending puzzle design.

The Last Case of Benedict Fox will arrive April 27 on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Xbox Series. The game will also be available via Xbox Game Pass.
