New Gameplay Trailer Released for Upcoming ‘V Rising’ Expansion “Secrets of Gloomrot” [Watch]
Stunlock Studios has finally pulled back the curtain on the upcoming V Rising expansion “Secrets of Gloomrot” with a new gameplay trailer. The trailer centres on the new biome in Gloomrot, complete with its polluted valleys and lightning-scorched highlands as you face off against the mutated experiments and mechanical monstrosities spawned from the twisted imaginations of the Trancendum.
With the new expansion, players will be hunting the blood of the brilliantly insane to harness the power of lightning and enter a new age of technology. The new Gloomrot region will be one of the bigger regions in the game.
In addition, the “Secrets of Gloomrot” expansion will also bring with it new additions and improvements to V Rising, namely in the castle building and combat. The castle building mechanic will be dramatically improved, allowing for multiple floor construction, claiming castle territories, and adding more ways to customize your domain. Combat will be more diverse with new weapon types and a new spell school, as well as letting players modify their spells to their liking with the jewel system.
Lastly, the world of Vardoran will also see a revamped, with new points of interest to visit, visual updates, new items, and enemy types. There will also be a total of 13 additional bosses to hunt down to obtain arcane knowledge.
“Secrets of Gloomrot” is expected to be released on May 17. V Rising is currently in Early Access on Steam.

‘Little Nightmares III’ DLC “The Backstage” Releases June 12 [Trailer]
During the Future Games Show, Bandai Namco and Supermassive have announced the first DLC for Little Nightmares III in “The Backstage”. Featuring new puzzles and challenges, this additional content will take players to the darkest part of the Carnevale, where they’ll meet a new character and face new perils. You won’t have to wait long to get it, either, as Little Nightmares III – The Backstage DLC will release on June 12.
In this new adventure, Low will meet Dime, a new child who wears a torch hat, which turns out to be a very helpful tool for finding their way in what lies beneath the curtains of The Carnevale. The two children will have to face new threats and use their light to find a way to save Alone from the hands of the Puppeteer.
In the original game, players meet Low and Alone, who are trapped within the Spiral, a cluster of disturbing places. The two will have to work together to survive in a dangerous world full of delusions. As they scamper and shelter on their journey to escape the grasp of an even greater threat, their senses may also lead them astray into the shadows.
Little Nightmares III is currently available for PC via Steam, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
