Almost a year after it was initially announced, Game Grumps and publisher Rogue Games’ slasher-inspired horror title Homebody will arrive on June 1 for for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Included with the announcement is a new teaser trailer.
Described as “a nostalgic survival horror puzzle game”, Homebody takes place in an eerie, foreboding atmosphere featuring a looping narrative that drives the story and gameplay.
The story centres on Emily and her college buddies, who have gathered at a remote rental house to watch the Perseid meteor shower. They also take the opportunity to try and rekindle the bonds that they once had, but lingering feelings and social anxieties make things difficult. Making things even more difficult is when the power at the rental house gets cut, and a mysterious killer begins to pick the friends off one by one.
Along with evading the killer, Emily will have to solve puzzles and reconnect with her friends. Death is an inevitability, but each attempt will have Emily waking up in the foyer, leaving you to try again to escape. Learn more about Emily’s relationships with choice-driven dialogue. Stealthily explore the house, moving quietly and hiding in closets to evade the responsive killer’s AI. You can also make use of an in-game journal to track the clues and puzzle solutions.

“Twisted Prosperity” Update Now Available for ‘Nightmare Frontier’
A year after its Early Access launch, Ice Code Games is prepping to have their tactical turn-based strategy and extraction looter title Nightmare Frontier leave Early Access and launch in full. In doing so, the devteam has launched the biggest ever update for the title in “Twisted Prosperity”, bringing with it a radical reshaping in how you navigate the shadows, with survival now demands a sharp eye and even sharper reflexes.
The update introduces the Deadwood, a terrifying new “Fear of Forests” enemy that turns every treeline into a death trap. But you aren’t going empty-handed. The update also introduces a major new gameplay mechanic: during the game’s fast-paced and chaotic battles, players can now rely on a new bullet ricochet system, allowing them to make their shots even deadlier and more precise.
Twisted Prosperity also includes new items, side quests, gameplay tweaks and the expected bug fixes, which are detailed here. No date has been set just yet for Nightmare Frontier to leave Early Access, other than the nebulous Q3 2026 window.
Nightmare Frontier unfolds in an alternate version of 19th-century America, shortly after a mysterious event that forever changed the world. The line between reality and an unknown horror has become blurred, and those who remain are left to uncover what truly happened that night – and what’s behind the titular Nightmare.
