Exterminate Killer Cacti in Upcoming Open World Survival Horror Game ‘Terror Spikys’ [Trailer]

Published

on

After terrifying gamers with their alien abduction title The Greyhill Incident, developer Refugium Games is back with something a little more down to earth. That “something” involves you hunting treasure while battling killer cacti in Terror Spikys.

Set for a Q1 2024 release (you can wishlist the game now on Steam), Terror Spikys is an open world Survival Horror game that puts you in the shoes of a Cactus Hunter who is out to, what else, hunt down killer cacti. In this case, you’re helping out a remote desert village to help rid them of this cactus menace.

Of course, the villagers will pay you for your extermination efforts in gold, along with upgrades for your truck that you use to scour the desert in search of these members of the Cactaceae family. You can also use the gold to purchase more weapons and traps for your hunt, as well as recruit members for your team to aid you in your quest to become “the most legendary Cactus Hunter the world has ever known.”

Cheesy? Yes. But if a game like Choo-Choo Charles and its ridiculous concept turned out to be an enjoyable B-movie romp, what’s stopping you from giving Terror Spikys a spin?
