The long-awaited “Museum Mode” is coming to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre with this week’s update, allowing you to explore the Slaughter family house like never before.
The team previews, “Freely explore the mad and macabre of the iconic Family House. Along the way you’ll discover puzzles and facts pulled from the history of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. But will you survive and what will be left of you?”
Gun painstakingly recreated the iconic house from Tobe Hooper’s original horror classic, but it’s hard to fully appreciate the surroundings when you’re busy either chasing down victims or running for your life. This new mode invites you to step inside the movie like never before.
You’ll find Museum Mode listed in the Main Menu beginning August 1 at 8am EDT!
The Cook’s brand new Fill ‘Er Up Outfit will also be available for $2.99 beginning this Thursday, along with various tunes, fixes and changes to the game that are detailed here.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available on Playstation®4, Playstation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, as well as Game Pass on Xbox and PC.
The game features classic villains from the movies as well as new family members, and the events of the Chain Saw game take place *before* Tobe Hooper’s original classic.
